If you are planning out a trip to Jasper, here is a your guide for a weekend of adventure. Pursuit Banff Jasper has everything you need for an incredible time from where to stay, where to eat and what to do!! They have opened some new attractions and even a brand new hotel, Jaspers first in 40 years. The town of Jasper lies in the heart of Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada. Many visitors to the Canadian Rockies choose this rustic alpine village as their base, making use of the wide range of accommodation and dining options. Even if you are just passing through, you will find enough activities to keep you busy for the day. Many of the natural attractions that draw the biggest crowds are just a short drive away.

Athabasca and Tangle falls and Medicine and Patricia lakes are all popular day trips. Go rafting or hiking in Maligne Canyon, climb Mount Edith Cavell or take the Jasper aerial tramway for a great view of the town, several mountain ranges and glacial lakes. Drive the awe-inspiring Icefields Parkway to Banff and see the glacier-rich Columbia Icefield on your way.

If you have the chance, take the Icefield Parkway to Jasper via Highway #1. This 4 hour drive will lead you past some of the most stunning landscapes, lakes and views. This is a drive that must be done. Be sure to do in the light as you won't want to miss a thing!

Stay at Jaspers newest hotel in 40 years, Forest Park Hotel, This hotel  brings a Scandinavian feel with its  sleek, minima design. Each suite has kitchen and stove so you can prepare your own meals if you like. Located right on Connaught Ave you are walking distance close to many restaurants and shops

Terra is inspired by the rawness of Jasper. Locally farmed and foraged fare is at the heart of what they do. Like the seasons, their menus are constantly changing to incorporate natural, local ingredients. No matter the time of year, Terra will always offer something new and unexpected.

Explore Jasper with Open Top Touring. Ride in vintage-inspired automobiles that have the look and feel of the 1930s — including a fully open-top roof* and a guide in period costume, plus they come with modern comforts like USB charging ports for your phone.

This is a great activity with friends and family and will give you a great lay of the land.

Do you want to see one of the most beautiful places on earth? This boat cruise will take you to Spirit Island where you will take in some of the most incredible views you will ever see. Cruise through the Hall of the Gods to a jaw dropping view. You can book an extended cruise that will give you a total of 30 minutes to explore Spirit Island. The location itself isn’t that big but you will want the extra time for pictures and just to take it in.

Catch sunrise at this beautiful location, take a kayak out of the water or just go enjoy the peaceful beauty of this location. Located just a few minutes outside of the town, you will love this Pyramid Island!
