Scott Bakken is a content creator, photographer, and storyteller based in Calgary, Alberta. A father of two, Scott has worked with leading brands including Canon, American Express, Google, GMC, WestJet, Fairmont, and more, as well as tourism boards and destinations around the world.

Scott is also the founder of Socality, a creative community built around connecting people online and creating meaningful face to face experiences. At the heart of his work has always been community, storytelling, and using creativity to bring people together.

More recently, Scott has been sharing his own story of starting over, moving forward, and thinking intentionally about what it means to build a life that leaves a legacy. He is currently focused on One Year Better, a personal experiment and community driven initiative asking a simple question: How much better could our lives become in one year if we intentionally worked on them?

Through 12 months and 12 different disciplines, Scott is documenting what he learns about growth, health, relationships, purpose, education, experiences, and becoming better in every area of life.
